In the realm of lithium battery systems, an efficient and secure management architecture is the cornerstone of superior performance and long service life. Ryder New Energy, leveraging nearly two decades of profound technical expertise, has mastered the synergistic interplay between the Upper Computer, Battery Management System (BMS), and Lower Computer, seamlessly integrating this knowledge into our customized solutions to deliver trusted energy assurance for global clients.

An Intelligent Management Architecture with Clear Hierarchy and Efficient Collaboration
Ryder's BMS adopts a mature hierarchical architecture, achieving comprehensive and meticulous control over battery packs through three core components, each with distinct roles yet working in close coordination.
Upper Computer: The Intelligent Brain and Command Center
As the top-level monitoring platform, Ryder's Upper Computer solution is responsible for the centralized monitoring, in-depth analysis, and strategy formulation of global data. It communicates in real-time with the BMS via industrial standard protocols like CAN Bus and Ethernet, comprehensively acquiring critical parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, State of Charge (SOC), and State of Health (SOH). Powered by Ryder's advanced algorithms, the Upper Computer not only performs data storage and life prediction but also proactively issues optimization commands, such as adjusting charging strategies, initiating intelligent balancing, or executing advanced protection actions. It enables remote centralized monitoring and maintenance management for multiple battery systems.
Battery Management System (BMS): The Dedicated Battery Guardian
The BMS is the core of Ryder's technology. Acting as the crucial middle layer that connects the upper and lower levels, it is directly responsible for the real-time status monitoring, safety protection, and intelligent control of battery modules. Ryder's independently developed BMS reports battery status to the Upper Computer, receives commands, and relays control signals to the Lower Computer. It integrates high-precision data acquisition, active/passive balancing, multiple fault diagnosis (over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, etc.), thermal management, and charge control, serving as the bulwark ensuring the safe, stable, and long-lasting operation of the battery system.
Lower Computer: The Precise Data Sensor and Execution Terminal
Positioned at the base of the architecture, the Lower Computer interacts directly with battery sensors and actuators. It is responsible for frontline data acquisition (e.g., voltage and temperature of each cell) and the execution of specific control tasks (e.g., controlling cooling fans). Ryder's integrated design ensures the Lower Computer can quickly and accurately transmit data to the BMS and reliably execute various control commands from the BMS, achieving precise perception and rapid response to the battery's physical state.
Seamless Flow of Data and Commands
Data Uplink: Raw data collected by the Lower Computer is processed and preliminarily analyzed by the BMS, which then uploads key information to the Upper Computer, forming a complete battery data chain.
Command Downlink: The Upper Computer issues control strategies based on system status or operator commands; the BMS then translates these into specific action instructions, executed via the Lower Computer, such as activating protection devices or adjusting temperature controls.
