To enrich staff's spare-time cultural life, boost physical fitness, strengthen team awareness and corporate cohesion, the company's HR department took charge of the overall organization. Pre-qualifying rounds for individual and team events kicked off in mid-May after registration closed on May 19, with all final competitions held on June 6 at the factory sports grounds.
The sports meet covered a full range of competitive events to suit participants of all genders and preferences: men's and women's individual running races, men's & women's relay races, badminton singles and mixed doubles, basketball group matches, tug-of-war and rope skipping contests. Each event set generous cash rewards for top three winners, while basketball and tug-of-war offered special prizes for champion and runner-up teams. The tug-of-war required every department to form teams of at least 10 members, encouraging cross-colleague collaboration.
During all matches, participants devoted themselves fully to every competition. They raced hard on the track, cooperated tactically in team sports, cheered and supported one another regardless of departments. Every player demonstrated perseverance, sportsmanship and positive mental outlook, perfectly interpreting the event's core theme.
